Although it might work sometimes, faking it till you make it does not feel good. Is forcing yourself to push through no matter what, is healthy? On the other hand does nourishing our emotions all the time is necessary? All we really want is to take action from a sincere place feeling good about ourselves. Here is how you do it.
Many times we get lost trying to help ourselves, heal, find happiness, freedom, peace. It seems that we've looked in all the possible places for solutions to our problems. Most people perceive their unhappiness, limitations, worries as problems, that they need to fix. Never really getting to know the one that suffers. But the one that suffers, is only looking for you to listen.
We are served each second on a daily basis with opportunities to better our lives. However, we do not recognize those opportunities because we look for opportunities that create experiences from interacting with the outside world. But what about our inner interactions with ourselves that hold infinite opportunities to reach happiness?
The inner sense of satisfaction cannot be ever satisfied if it depends on the changing circumstance.When we seek to feel good about ourselves and look to get this feeling from the outside we fall into a trap. The problem with the outside is that it is always changing. So we find ourselves chasing what is always changing, never knowing how to stop because if we stop, what will make us feel good about ourselves? - You don't have to chase your happiness anymore.
When looking to heal we face our mind's thoughts and opinions about our own situation, health and status. We stick and follow guidelines that we believing are important because they guide us in our lives. However when our reality doesn't meet our own set guidelines, we find it very difficult to focus on healing and moving on. So what can we do?
Believe it or not, you feel bad because you make yourself feel bad. Here is why. You don't have to choose sides, but you do it anyway. You don't have to settle or compromise, but you do it anyway. You don't need to believe anything that doesn't feel right, but you do it anyway... Why we do the things we don't want to do, is it because we believe that we don't have a choice?
We are used to seeing our life's turmoils as the chicken and the egg story. Looking for who did what to who. Looking for what came first? What caused what? As we go about with our lives we notice that our outer shell is cracking, and it seems like there is nothing we can do about it. This is the reality of our lives. Or is it?
Everything heals when we stop. If we stop polluting, the Earth will heal, the oceans will heal, forests will heal. When we stop hurting one another our souls will heal. When we will stop hurting ourselves mentally our minds and bodies will heal. Everything in the universe, when left to its own device, is constantly trying to find balance and heal.
