In our awakened state we are deprived of feeling our true self because we give our full attention to whatever draws our focus. To return to our initial loving, blissful state of being we need to practice letting go of focusing. What is the closest thing that you have? What is the one thing that is important to you the most? Do you depend on it? Or perhaps can't be without it? Is it more than one thing? Take a moment to think about the things that are closest to you that you can't be without. Now ask yourself - Do I believe that what I have will always exist there for me or am I worried about what I have disappearing from my life?
